2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHere's a website every DUer should bookmark for primary research:
http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/DScroll down a little and click on any state that interests you to find out when its primaries or caucuses happen and how many delegates come from that state.
You'll learn even more at each state's page, including how delegates are selected in that state. Links on the site also explain the process in detail, which can help people understand this complex process. As the primaries and caucuses get closer, I find myself visiting the site to get the facts I need to interpret news about polls and primary races.
Its not a pretty website, and it doesn't have cool ads for crap you've searched for on the Internet. It's just information about our nomination election process for the office of President. There are no videos or opinions on the website, just information in tables and text. It's not a fun site. It's a site where you can get actual information without any colorful analysis.
I highly recommend it to those who are serious about the mechanics of our political system. Much that can be found there will come as a surprise to many. If you're not serious about this, though, you'll find the site boring and uninteresting.

(146,262 posts)useful as time passes. I'm always surprised at how much I learn there, and I've been involved in Democratic politics since 1960, when I was still in high school.

(146,262 posts)that isn't someone's campaign site. Information is what I'm looking for, not promotion for a candidate.

(9,497 posts)Because in usual Bernie fashion, the information is good for everybody, even Chaffee supporters.

(25,699 posts)Well, I'll be. A site that caters specifically to Conan O'Brian?
Do you know how hard it is to meet the needs of eight-foot gingers?

(146,262 posts)it several times on DU. I thought I'd post it again, for those who hadn't seen it. As several people have thanked me for posting, I guess it was useful to them. Not to you, of course, but to some.
Thanks for kicking the thread.

(10,406 posts)I've used it before to compile a handy little list of delegates, superdelegates, number of delegates by state, etc. I recommend it as well.

(581 posts)same candidates are the biggest spenders in their states, wasting million of tax dollars. How can they face the voters with the big LIES they tell us. We just need to look at the Republicans HOUSE in DC and see the tens of millions they are wasting on attacking Democratic candidates, using tax dollars for campaigning. I thought this was illegal?
