The media overstates the 'wrong track' remark...

It's too vague. I'm guessing there are millions and millions of diehard Obama supporters who feel the country is on the wrong tack ... because of the Republicans in Congress. Until you actually understand why the people feel that the country is on the wrong track, it's pointless to use this as proof Obama shouldn't be winning.

Frankly, I think the country is on the wrong track BECAUSE OF REPUBLICANS. Not Obama.

I'm guessing a vast majority of those who cast their ballot this November for the President feel the same way.

I'm not saying that in a boastful way. It is just that they are completely out of touch with the real world. Maybe they always were, but with all the cutbacks, they now do little more than put a microphone in front of powerful people inside the beltway. It is a total waste of time to listen to any of the major teevee networks.

We are on the wrong track when there are a bunch of people who refuse to support infrastructure projects because they are afraid it might help the President.

We are on the wrong track when there are people who are willing to put FAA contractors on hold for a month, causing thousands of people to be laid off -- when the FAA budget is fully funded by airline fees already!!!

We are on the wrong track when the highest ranking Republican says his top priority is not the welfare of the people, turning the economy around, or adding jobs. His highest priority is the destroy the president.

We are on the wrong track when we can't even get half of the Senators and Congressmen to support legislation that would address the fundamental problems with the banking system that very nearly brought a total collapse of our economy.

We are on the wrong track when we continue to subsidize the most profitable companies in the world (the polluting energy companies) while standing by giving only tepid support to the industries and energies of the future -- perfectly happy to see China pass us by.

We are on the wrong track when anybody was seriously think of voting for a guy like Romney as President. He should be in prison, not in the White House.

The only thing I don't understand is what kind of mental misfit believes we ARE on the right track.

Obama may be the lesser-of-evils choice, but he is WAY less "evil" than the alternative. I don't believe he is personally evil. He is fighting a thoroughly corrupt system, and has done better than any modern President in dealing with that.

The media lumped all of the discontent into a single group as if those on the left disliked it for the same reason that the right disliked it.

The wrong track numbers are exactly the same situation. And the media will lump them all together as an indictment of Obama.
