So Ryan is still running for his House seat according to his opponent Rob Zerban.

I got this email Sunday and intend to donate.

Rob Zerban. Along with President Obama and Vice President Biden, I have the unique privilege of being the other candidate who gets to defeat Paul Ryan this year.

That's because despite running for Vice President, Paul Ryan is still running for Congress in Wisconsin. And I'm his progressive opponent.

I've been preparing for over a year now. I have a great team and raised over a million dollars in grassroots donations -- more than all of Ryan's opponents in the last 10 years combined. But to finish the job, I need your help.

Can you donate $3 to my campaign so that we can keep Paul Ryan's extremist views out of the White House AND Congress?

Is still running for her seat. It's not unusual.

in 2000 when he and Gore ran?

but, you're right this is not unusual .... going back even farther in history LBJ ran for reelection to the Senate in 1960 when he ran as VP under JFK.

It's probably too good to be true, but how nice would it be if he was totally out of the picture as a result of both November elections?
