(8,217 posts)In a Blog Post by Carl Daikeler(CEO of Beachbody), he had a conversation a year or two back with Barack Obama discussing the importance of physical fitness.
They mentioned that Michelle Obama does P90X as well, and can probably do more push ups than Barack.
I like that work out. It is already a bit dated, and the thing with those type of work outs which is regimented and just through dvds, it gets boring after a while. It is a great vehicle to start out with for physical fitness, but after that, to continually improve, it is best to find things that you enjoy doing.
The important part is motivation.
This is probably one of the only few things I can agree with him with. Everything else, I still consider him a DB(Douche). It is also one of the few things I admire in Michelle Obama, her commitment to fitness.
See, I don't like posts like this because physical fitness to me is important. So, I rather talk about it purely rather than attaching some DB to it. Which attaches something negative in to something that should be positive, namely physical fitness.

(8,217 posts)As long as you're doing something, it is all good.
Heck, I go to Bikram Yoga because uh.... uhhh... Well it is a very hot room, around 103-108 degrees. Around 40 people in there, and only about 5 are guys.
Don't get me wrong, the exercise is so hard that you can't really pay attention to anything else other than what you're doing but, the trainer and everyone else is usually in decent shape. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to keep up.
