Could Obama benefit from religious loyalty?

Could Obama as the only Protestant in the race benefit from that? After all, it's common knowledge that Romney will draw a lot of Mormon support and that Biden and Ryan draw considerable Catholic support. Do you think there are any Protestants out there that put their faith above politics in that way? Is there any extra loyalty for Protestants by the Protestants when it comes to elections? If not, why not?

Doubt it. Recall the Fundies swooning over Santorum.
Actually don't think religion is going to be much of an issue here except for the extreme anti-choicers who have found their poster boy Ryan.
