Is the Repubs' "Obama cut Medicare", "blood on his hands" BS getting any traction?

All people currently receiving Medicare have to do is take a look at their benefits and check to see if anything has changed, right? It's been 2 years since PPACA was signed into law. Surely, somebody would have had to notice SOMETHING if their benefits had changed for the worse, RIGHT, and, more importantly, the MSM would have been tripping over themselves to publish a story (probably several ones) about it, right? Was this a major factor in the 2010 midterm races?

and we need to explain what those cuts were for - fraud, waste, and practitioners, not benefits.
I have been hearing it constantly and it needs a strong pushback. My screaming at the TV doesn't count.
