today's team hillary meme: biden should go out on a high note

was watching hardball last night, and Eugene Robinson, who can barely contain his disdain for any candidate other than Hillary, was waxing on about how Biden has had such a distinguished career and really shouldn't go out on anything but a high note. And since he has "very long odds" of becoming president, he really needs to think about that before he runs. And the rest of the pundit hacks on his panel basically concluded that Biden has "low odds" to win and of course, Bernie has basically no chance at all against Hillary. I have heard this on a couple of other shows as well. I guess the guilt about stopping the first woman president hasn't set in, so they're going with how Joe should end on a high note for his career. how kind of them to be so concerned about his legacy.

if Joe does get in, I hope he's ready to rumble, because there's no question this is going to get UGLY.

edit to add...The panel also agreed that the best way for the Hillary campaign to "get rid of" Biden is to offer him a position. The guys been a vice President and a senator, as if something else is going to entice him to give up the possible presidency.obviously somebody didn't have their Wheaties.

Thirty five years later and I can still not watch that fight...

There is no shame in quitting while you're ahead.
