I saw a clip of him talking at his get together with Walter Mondale, and thought his speech pattern was a bit odd and his concentration was a bit poor. I think he should decide to skip this election, frankly. I believe he will embarrass himself if he runs, and have already seen him make factual errors.

seeming lack of articulate speech that was on subject. That, and his apparent forgetfulness regarding the Bin Laden thing are troublesome. It's not an immediately obvious thing, but it's of concern to me. If it continues and he runs, any loss of his command of public speaking will become obvious rather quickly.

He is a seventy three year old man dealing with the harrowing experience of losing a child for the second time and being a heart beat from the presidency. I don't believe it's ageist to suggest physiologically it is so much harder.

The average seventy three year old man would need time and space to grieve and not to run for president while performing the duties of vice president.

A person is not their best under undue stress...

11. I really like and respect Biden as a person, but his hesitancy has sealed the deal IMO.

He's got some baggage that would erupt-- regardless of efforts by any opponents, including the bankrupcy votes, his protection of the Delaware big banks and tax havens, the past Clarence Thomas hearings, and several other things I've momentarily let slip away . So the "honeymoon period" and any goodwill he surely still has re: loss of his son and being a genuinely "nice" guy would likely be short and I think he has come to see that. Still, I can't think that most want a person to be President that doesn't really want it nor is so seemingly undecisive.

I like Joe and wish him all the happiness he can experience. He's earned it. But, I think he's "cooked" with regard to another Presidential run.
