let's show how long ago this was ...

DM was making the circuit, and showed up at "The Front Row Theater" in Cleveland ... long ago gone.

Excited about him from his SNL days, thought he'd be hilarious let loose ...

Way too many f-bombs, the person who laughed hardest at his jokes was himself.

Thing is, I don't remember him being conservative at that point, just not very funny.

Now, the opening act, Rita Rudner, had us howling. Enough that Mrs. ZB and I went a few years ago to her show at New York New York in Vegas for Mrs. ZB's birthday gift. Got to be the last two in line to have her book signed, got to spend a few extra minutes chatting. Very nice.

Saw Chorus Line, David Sanborg and Godspell there decades ago. It had to be in the 70's.

Nice subtle dig there. It takes a lot of time away from when Ryan should be working rather than sculpting a hard body at the gym.

Ignorant question to ask her, although I suppose this is meant to be late-night talk show humor.

All I can say is that hopefully Ryan and his P-90X will become a joke and end up making him a punchline rather than someone who is taken seriously.

He asks "what are your thoughts on him?", and she replies "he’s a nice person. I don’t really know him well because I’ve never been to the gym." She's brought up the subject of Ryan spending his time in the gym rather than on the floor of Congress. His "have you seen him with his shirt off?" is a follow-up, and this allows Pelosi to make her dig at Ryan clear - "it takes time".

I love me some Nancy too.
I always find it amusing at how fast a person can be thrown under the bus.
IMHO, I think that for political comedy to be funny it has to be based in truth.
Paul Ryan probably does look pretty buff with his shirt off(He's still a dick).
Next week Jimmy Fallon will say or do something that everyone on our side just loves to pieces.

Nancy should just hold up a finger and indicate her feelings:

This is who is hot in politics:

Ben LaBolt

Some people like the package, the mind and the looks.
Ryan exudes ugly even if he is "cute".
