Help Convention goers plan their visit to NC!

What are your favorite places to visit in NC?

One of mine is the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge.

From Charlotte take I-85 north to I-40. Go east on 40 til you hit NC64 just on the other side of Raleigh. Take 64 til you hit the Atlantic Ocean. Well, actually just before that turn left on NC12.

Take 12 til it ends. Find a place to park. Go walking up the deserted beach. If you're lucky you'll run into wild horses, like those ones that frolicked with whatsherface in Nights in Rodanthe. If you're unlucky you'll run into wild boars, and never be heard from again.

That's my helpful travel tip of the day.

What's yours?
