She was a big supporter of Hillary in 08 election, she did a great job then and continues to do a great job now for the DNC as chair.

I hear one of the reasons she was also chosen to be DNC Chair for the 2012 Election is because she's from Florida and it may help win the state to have a DNC Chair who knows the state well.
