Connie Mack: Akin’s Comments Are Offensive — Just Like Joe Biden’s

Today in false equivalence:

"Like Joe Biden's comments last week, I find Todd Akin's comments made Sunday to be just as outrageous and offensive. Such insulting and offensive remarks from Joe Biden and Todd Akin have no place in our political discourse."

Biden used the allusion of chains to describe the poverty and hopelessness GOP economic policy leads to for 99% of us.

Akin's stunning pig ignorance outraged the female half of the US citizenry.

No comparison, cupcake, no matter how you wish it so.

he was responding to actual GOPer comments about unchaining Wall Street from the tyranny of regulations. Biden knew what he was talking about and I have yet to hear anybody outside of GOP circles upset about it either.

Why must we start a thread which leads with GOP talking points on a purely Democratic Discussion Board?

If there was any male politician out there that is the opposite of the offensive Todd Akin it is Joe Biden. There is no world in which Biden and Akin have any equivalence at all. The Repubs of 2012 are racist, sexist and homophobic. Biden is none of that.
