How does Ryan make Romney more acceptable to the baggers when he defers to him on every position?

I don't get it....every time they ask Ryan about his ultra-conservative BS he just says he's running on Romney's ticket so Romney's views are all that matters.

So how does this convince teabaggers that Romney is any more conservative than he was before Ryan? Makes no sense.

1. When your basic life view is based on revealed religion....

paradox in other fields is more easily tolerated, rationalized, and justified.

He talks out of both sides of his mouth, because he can. Most of his supporters will, as always, hear what they want to hear and filter out the rest.

2. Agree and how is it reassuring to more moderate voters?

If something happens to the Mittster, Ryan would be President. What is it that right wingers don't get that about the VP? They act like it's a much lesser job, no need to worry about whether the holder is a natural born citizen or otherwise disqualified (see Palin).
