Yes, Obama leads in PA, but "the poll’s results suggest the race could tighten." Th Hill says

I found this article in The Hill. It says (without explanation) that today's good-news poll for Obama in PA (leading by 9%) suggest the race could tighten. Here's the paragraph:

But the poll’s results suggest the race could tighten. Fifty-three percent approve of Obama’s job performance with 45 percent disapproving. Among independents that approval rating is narrower, with 50 percent approving of Obama’s job performance as president and 47 percent disapproving.

Am I slow, or I missed the part where she explained how the poll suggests the race "could tighten"? Can any of you help me figure this out?

But that's probably the media just being cautious (or wanting to keep the race close)

If an R has a 9 point lead in that state, framing would be completely different.

MORTAL LOCK type stuff.

I had the same reaction when I read that.

I was wondering what in the world they were basing it on? Nothing apparently. Just ignore it.

With this most recent poll, Obama has now led in 20 of the 21 public polls conducted in Pennsylvania this year -- and Romney has been mired in the low 40s -- which suggests the swing state designation this year might be overstated.

Obama has led in all but 1 or 2 polls conducted this year.

The Hill has been pretty unfavorable toward the President all throughout this campaign. Don't understand why people can't just accept that there is a good poll, on that day, and leave it alone. Why look for trouble?

I'm sorry but there seems to be an almost glee with the recent concern posts here about polls...
