2016 Postmortem

Gov. Romney has claimed to have created a 100,00 jobs at Bain, and people are wanting to know, is there proof of that claim and was it U.S. jobs created for United States citizens? And thats fair, Palin told Sean Hannity of Fox News when asked about Rick Perrys vulture caplitalism charge against Romney. Thats not negative campaigning thats fair to get a candidate to be held accountable to whats being claimed. ...Its kind of like a come to Jesus moment for some of these candidates, and thats healthy and thats good, she said. It is rough and tumble. Its not beanbag, as Romney and others have called it, and these guys have to be prepared for this.

A Jesus moment? If Sarah is alluding to crucifixion, she could be right.

(23,664 posts)The message came down from on high yesterday. Rush Limbaugh is not happy with republicans piling on the Bain Capital thing. He sternly lectured Newt about the negative ads and Newt promptly apologized. Of course it may have had something to do with the fact that Bain owns the company which syndicates Limbaugh's sorry ass show.
Expect to hear the fat boy trashing Palin over this on his pukefest today. Romney is now deemed sufficiently "conservative" for all the sheep to support and he'll pretty much coast to the nomination from here on out.
