Really, the GOP platform is no exceptions, what part of no exceptions do Republicans not understand. As long as that is in their platform they can run who ever they like. But, this person is going to have to make it clear they don't agree with the Republican platform.

And Murkowski was an incumbent Senator with name recognition.
