What's quite remarkable actually is that this is the 2nd election in a row where these 2 states are competitive.

The Electoral Map is expanding for the Democrats and shrinking for the Republicans. They now have to defend states that hadn't gone Democratic in decades until 2008.

That is a game-changer in terms of Electoral College strategy.

Not too distant in the future. Possibly as early as 2016...2024 at the latest. At that point, it's game over for the repugs.

Not sure about the Senate - there are a lot of small red states out there.

last thing on their mind is voting. I hope instilling in them how important it is and how it affects them if they don't vote.

There are lots and lots ad Romney ads running. Apparently to little avail.
