He has had trouble controlling his temper.

Last month he had to apologize for saying Obama was not really American.

Last week he got angry with Soledad O'Brien.

The week before that he got angry on Piers Morgan.

Seems to have an anger management problem.

When someone has a video clip of Sununu's comments, please post it so that we can send it around and let people know what type of folks are advising Mitt Romney.

"Trying to get his last licks in before his own beatdown".

These repukes DO seem, beyond any political "bias" here, to be nasty individuals, which would,

correspond to their greedy, "Ive got mine, screw you" values, if that' s what one can call them.

Early this morning, I watched a panel of political strategists talk about their "craft" on C-Span.

It featured Bill Burton, much maligned for the supposed "Romney killed my wife" Youtube vid,

a repub named "Spies" and the very awful -- as he proved again this morning -- Mike Murphy.

I remember Mike Murphy, getting tossed off a show being hosted by Keith Olbermann "Get him outta here",

when he was still on MSNBC...It wasn't Keith's show, but he was one of the people "anchoring" some close

to election night coverage in 2008.

Bill Burton was actually quite nice, relaxed and easy going, even when someone in the audience kind of called

him out for the Bain ad. The other two, especially Murphy, were cynical, nasty and using every other

minute of their time "campaigning" for Romney, even though that was NOT called for by the forum or

the guests in the audience....On the other hand, their aggressive negativity, as you pointed out, is

probably being fueled by their realization that they're going to lose the election.

You don't have to be specific if you don't want, but I imagine you were a reporter, a journalist, perhaps?

Whatever...MY God...When you had these long, drawn out conversations, you had to be tempted to TELL

him what you thought?...I'm sure you were, and I bet you weren't able to, right?...OMG...That is

funny, because I always felt I'd be lousy at any job where I had to squelch my own opinions for

any length of time...Sounds like that wasn't the case for you, though, unless I'm guessing wrong on your

ability to "hold forth" on your own views!....Good Grievious!....As for Sununu, I always go back to the personal...As I

said to my husband last night..."He must have had very good parents, if ONLY for the fact that they HAD to

have instilled him with confidence, or he'd never be able to go on to a public career, not after looking

in a mirror, I mean, talk about a "face made for radio"!....It really DOES give you a new appreciation for "the power of positive

thinking", and I don't want to be malicious regarding looks*, but the fact that he had the balls to actually grope

women!....Gawd!...There's GOT to be an interesting backstory there!

* I'm honestly not overly focused on appearance, and have found only a FEW people in life I would actually
call "ugly". He, however, is one of them, and I only find it remarkable in light of his self-confidence, his "inner ugly", and his apparent "success"!

No, I was just a servant of the people, a uniformed government employee!

I was not in a position to tell him I thought he was a pompous ass. I (along with others) was interacting with him in an official capacity and when that monkey is on your back, you pretty much have to shut up and suck it up. I will say I found him smarmy and unpleasant, and I have it on unimpeachable authority that he had the "Roman hands, Russian fingers" problem--it was an oft-discussed issue, but no one who was interfered with by the man dared or desired to move forward with official complaints, as that sort of reporting was regarded as career-ending at the time.

I've met plenty of people who--from a distance--might be regarded as "ugly" or "less than attractive" -- but once you get to know them, the ugly disappears completely and their inner self shines through, to the point where their "ugly" face acquires a certain charm.

All I can tell you is that this guy wasn't one of those!

But Democrats are not upset that Sununu is on the loose.

State Democratic National Committeewoman and former state party Chair Kathy Sullivan said Romney "liked the idea of Sununu becoming a distraction, as Romney doesn't want to release those tax returns.

"So what better way to distract?" asked Sullivan. "Send out the ethically challenged former governor who has a history of calling Democrats vermin and of calling gay marriage garbage - he'll be sure to say something so outrageous that it will take everyone's minds off what Mitt is hiding."

Sullivan said Sununu "is hurting more than he is helping Romney, and therefore helps Obama. Outside of the base, people don't like that sort of visceral nastiness.

"Shame on you, John Sununu, and shame on Mitt Romney for not having the courage to stand up and say, 'No, John, he is an American, he is a patriot, and you can go back home to New Hampshire and be quiet now."

The recent remark made by former governor John H. Sununu that our president "should learn to be an American" was reprehensible and ignorant.

His comment, coming from a man born in Cuba of immigrant parents from Lebanon and El Salvador (he is thus ineligible to be president), demonstrates the irony of the remark. His remarkable intelligence and gifted abilities have both been wasted on political rubbish. He has apologized for the tasteless comment but like many others involved in our current political morass, his intention to discredit and impugn our president with nasty innuendoes has found an audience.

In another lapse of civility, he referred to the losses of Democrats in the state Legislature as "throwing the vermin out." In concert with the New Hampshire speaker of the House, they have managed to reduce the dignity, decorum and stature of our governing institutions to that of a third-world country.

But still, he provides a great contrast to the cultivated Romney image.

A guy who looks like something the cat dragged in accusing us of being vermin. That should go over well with Democrats sitting on the fence.

Curious what the connection is between them. Whose money does he represent?

Because we ALL know that Romney has no friends IRL.

Between Rush L, Fox commentators, and half the comment makers on the right on yahoo, how CAN Romney call Obama the Great Divider?

It's (one of) the unconscious thingy he hates about himself so he projects it onto his adversary.
