Are the Republicans pushing fast food?
One of my pet peeves has for years been the use of “dumb guy” voices in television commercials. Companies like Taco Bell, Carl’s Junior and too many others use these sappy voices to hawk fast food, beer and pick-up trucks. They sound like people I wouldn’t want on my payroll but they must reach a certain demographic because the ad men keep using them. I just caught of whiff of Paul Ryan’s speech and my first thought was, “Oh shit, they’ve found a dumb guy voice”.
