I'd like to give an anti-Pulitzer to the Daily Caller

the Daily Caller recently concluded that Obama "could lose" Illinois because a pollster polled one county in IL (as opposed to the state of IL) and claimed Obama's support there was much smaller than it was in 2008. http://dailycaller.com/2012/08/20/shock-poll-obama-could-lose-illinois/

The pollster (Michael McKeon) worked for Dennis Hastert (Republican House Speaker) for 20 years, but Daily Caller did not note his partisanship or identify him as a Republican in any way.

This claim was ridiculous but in the absence of a poll the article could not be debunked without cons remaining in denial.

Now a new independent poll is out and Obama leads in IL by 26%. He beat McCain by 25% in 2008. This is one of the largest leads in any states of the nation by either Obama and Romney. http://www.chicagonow.com/windy-city-young-republicans/2012/08/crainsipsos-obama-55-romney-29-in-illinois-an-analysis/

I propose that the Daily Caller shut down.
