This Democratic contest wasn't really a primary. It was a sale. The Clintons bought and paid for the nomination - they already own the DNC - that much is clear. And now, other things can be for sale .... this is our political system - it's how it works!

(20,176 posts)No further point or insinuation meant. I've been taking a photography course and that just struck me as someone went through a lot of work to block-out and stage this photo to seem candid...and failed because it feels ersatz.
Everybody's positioning and expressions are a little too perfect, like they've been rehearsed and stage-managed. The light too perfect, nothing is awkward or out of place, the shadows fall into good placement, all the bling is placed and lit to maximize blinginess. Candid photos don't look this perfect.
What an odd photo for that reason.
