Hillary's cash on hand vs Bernie's cash on hand

Hillary raised about $112 million last year and has $38 million in cash on hand
Bernie raised about $73 million last year and has $28.4 million in cash on hand

So Hillary has just under $10 million more right now than Bernie but appears to be spending it at a high rate.
For ever dollar raised Hillary spent about 66 cents where as for ever dollar raised Bernie spent 61 cents.

So it seem like as far as funds go they are very close

1. They're not that far apart, really, in fundraising.

Candidates don't have to raise quite as much during the primary races as they will for the general election campaign. How they decided to spend what they've raised is more important, really.

For example, if a candidate is spending a large amont on fundraising, that isn't a very good use of money. If the money is being used to build infrastructure and a ground game, then it's being spent well.

5. Doesn't this tarnish the notion that Citizens United would force us to be subservient?

This must really irk a bunch of rich conservatives.

grifters and not so great for actual candidates. It's what allows the absurd Republican clown car primaries of 2012 and 2016 to chug along with candidates whose main purposes are book tours and Fox News auditions.
