DWS is hoping that Bernie will be out of the race by then, so there will only be 5 debates.

Bernie Sanders and Martin O'Malley would rather be addressing millions of people at-a-time in a televised debate than however many fit into one room.

While I hear that from O'Malley in a few tweets and press releases, that's about it.

The call for more debates is a dead issue. The two leading candidates are fine with the schedule. It's not going to change.

But people love pissing in the wind.

What a joke. Fuck the DNC
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=973591

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

Wait, what? This is still Democratic Underground.
The DNC's central focus is on campaign and political activity in support of Democratic Party candidates, and not on public policy. The TOS specifically states Vote For Democrats. It should not be okay to depress support for the DNC or Democratic candidates here on DU. A little community standards could go a long way in pulling people together on this forum instead of the prevailing divisiveness.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Mon Jan 4, 2016, 02:47 PM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE

Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: What the? How the hell is this a tos violation? If you are so worried about divisiveness you should STOP ALERT TROLLING BERNIE SUPPORTERS.
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT

Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: The DNC is an entity which is certainly not immune to criticism, especially not with Debbie Wasserman Schultz in charge; who herself allies with Republicans when convenient.
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: We are allowed to have an opinion about the dnc and express it here. Stop alert stalking. Grow up. Discuss issues.

The only reason they are having so few debates is so that they can try and control the process even more than they already did in past years.

6 freakin' debates!

If Hillary loses the first 5 primaries, you can bet your bottom dollar that she will be the one who will be calling for more debates!

And don't even get me started about Hawaii! If only there was some device that would allow people to record things on TV and watch it later.
