Former Secret Service Agent Lambasts Bernie Sanders and His Proposal of ‘Free Stuff’

The Blaze (a right-wing website) reports a former Secret Service agent decries Bernies proposals with the following statement

"There is nothing “democratic” about voting to take away the economic liberty of free men and women by taxing away more of their income.

There is nothing “democratic” about voting to take away an individual’s liberty to choose their healthcare options by turning it over to government bureaucrats.

And there is nothing “democratic” about voting away a family’s freedom to choose where they can send their child to school.”

Of course, what fails to mention is that this coded language stating that the plutocrats have the right to have unlimited wealth and freedom to obtain that wealth. I think is targeting the upper middle-class and thinking that their freedoms will be infringed by Bernie policies of "social engineering". In reality, Bernie is really trying to make proposals to make it easier for class mobility and to have true financial freedom by not worrying about going to bankrupt from endless student debt or medical debt due to sky-high medical bills.

What the poster's is actually doing is defying free-market capitalism and pretends that it is some perfect, rational system when it is not. In reality, free market capitalist is imperfect system that is corrupted by monopolies and state interests that intertwined with plutocrats. There is no true "free market" and the author's concept of that free market is a just an illusion and his figment of imagination.

about some of those secret service agents - nuts as they come. Some are susceptible to the conspiracy theories pushed by the Alex Jones wing of the party.

I busted his ass on Twitter, lying piece of crap.

I think before touting this story, you should see what a jerk-off this ass is.

He's a conservative wing-nut who hates Obama, repeats the Wall Street Urinal's lie that Bernie's plans would cost $18 trillion (which was debunked by the very economist the Urinal quote to come up with that crap) and repeated Tweets vile things about liberals.

He ran for Congress in Maryland and spouted some of the most insane crap with the best of the Cruzes and Malkins and Brietbarts.

I don't give a shit what this cretin says.

I took him down in two Tweets. He blocked me. I was proud.

This is a glorified body guard, who cares what he thinks. How unprofessional for a SS agent to even comment on a candidate or a person under their protection.

Oh, wait. I've got it. We're supposed to jump immediately to the false conclusion that this was one of Hillary's or Bill's bodyguards.

No cigar.

It misrepresents Sanders' positions. It's not hard to find points of difference, but this outlet INVENTS them and that is not helpful at all.

An "anti tax" meme is the realm of far-right kooks. There's plenty of room to discuss the differing attitudes towards taxes in general, how much, who gets taxed, etc. without going off the rails like that.

I have to laugh at how people are claiming their liberty is being taken away because they have to either enroll in a health plan or pay a fine, but they have no trouble with taking away the liberty of women to determine what they want growing in their uteri.

And NOBODY is "voting away a family's freedom to choose where they can send their child to school." If Little Fauntleroy can get accepted to the school, and Fauntleroy's parents don't have broken fingers and write that tuition check, Precious Fauntleroy can go where ever the hell Mumsie and Daddie like--even the Adolph Hitler Academy for the Children of Nazis. (Sorry--didn't mean to Godwin like that...).

Bongino is a member of the Groundswell, a coalition of conservative and libertarian activists fighting to advance conservative causes

In late 2013, Bongino's book about his career as a secret service agent, Life Inside the Bubble, was released and immediately made it onto both the New York Times and Amazon Best Sellers list. The book discusses his experiences protecting presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama and investigating federal crimes along with his 2012 run for the U.S. Senate in Maryland.[14]

The book caused controversy, with an anonymous former colleague criticizing him for trying to use his proximity to President Obama in his political career: "He's trying to draw attention to himself and he's hijacking the Secret Service brand. That's all he's got going for him."

He is a guest host for both the Sean Hannity and Mark Levin radio shows
