Too tough to win.

Last edited Wed Jan 6, 2016, 12:40 AM - Edit history (1)

The media sponsored front runners are in a toughness campaign. Let's see how it's playing out so far...

"Donald says he's tough."

"No problem. Hillary supported bombing the hell out of Muslims in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Libya."

"Donald wants to ban all Muslims and send Mexicans back to Mexico"

"Big deal, Hillary supported sending kids back to Honduras after an unopposed right-wing coup unleashed waves of violence against poor factory workers"

"Well, Donald doesn't want to raise the minimum wage"

"Yawn. That coup was unopposed by the Hillary's State Dept. because Honduras wanted to raise the minimum wage. This angered US corporations."

"Donald wants to cut welfare"

"Check the record. Hillary supports "tough on crime" prison sentencing for minor offenses that target the poor"

"Donald wants to deregulate Wall Street"

"Hillary just said, literally, if we regulate Wall Street the terrorists win"

"Donald says he doesn't support gay marriage but is evolving"

"Been there, done that. Hillary's already evolved."

"Trump made millions pulling himself up by the bootstraps as a brilliant businessman who formed a complex web of tax-sheltered enterprises around the world."

"Yeah, well in case you didn't know, Hillary made millions after leaving the White House dead broke by selling her influence to Wall Street banks and foreign investors, dispersing the proceeds through a complex web non-profit enterprises."

And so on.

Tired of this testosterone fueled "toughness" death spiral? There is one candidate who isn't interested in beating up the poor or bombing Muslims or protecting the ill-gotten fortunes of Wall Street CEOs.

There's another way to win. We can stop the madness. We can make a difference. Really. We can.

Nonetheless, Clinton's supposed rhetoric is "testosterone fueled" (sic)?

That's interesting too.

conservative male counterparts. Conservatives tend to over compensate in the areas of guns and war and beating up the poor.

Empathy and toughness are what I look for in a person but either quality without the other isn't worth much.
