Sports Illustrated - Abby Wambach to campaign for Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire

Former U.S. women's national team captain Abby Wambach will join Lena Dunham in a kick-off events to back Hillary Clinton for president throughout the week in New Hampshire.

Dunham and Wambach will first hit Portsmouth for a Women for Hillary event​. Wambach will then head to Dover, Concord and Salem to campaign on Friday before traveling to Lebanon and Keene on Saturday, according to SentinelSource.com.

Clinton posted message on her Facebook page honoring Wambach's career after the soccer star played in her final game in Dec.

Wambach finished her career as the United States' all-time leading scorer in the World Cup and Olympics. She is also the top scorer in international soccer history with 184 goals. She won two Olympic gold medals and the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup title.

How HRC gets support from anyone in the LGBTQ community shows, at the very least, that HRC knows how to work the angles and that there is no doubt that memory in politics is short.

What you think it does. If you want to support a person that supported DOMA and DADT and, until she started running for president, didn't think that gays and lesbians should be allowed marry and make a joke of it, far be from me to stop you.
