2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumBernie should have Jane go out on the stump. She's phenominal!
This is part of the Morning Joe interview from this morning. They address a variety of issues, but whenever Jane chips in she just lays down the hammer. This is the woman I want to see in the White House.

Sounds like she should be more involved?
Maybe she is the ace in Bernie's back pocket for later on?
I think all the campaigns have strategies and use certain people or special issues when they think it's most beneficial.
Look forward to hearing her speak.

(23,867 posts)This is so great. Just discovering that these people, and supporters, exist is enough for me. I didn't know. Now I know. There are very solid and focused people who share a vision of a very different society. A much better one.

(3,649 posts)That means if Sarah Palin or Carly Fiorina were the only women running for office you'd vote for them?
ProudToBeLiberal
(3,964 posts)So, no I would not vote for Sarah Palin or Carly Fiorina because they are Republicans. Republicans are the party that are against a woman's right to choose.

(3,964 posts)Yellow Dog Democrats was a political term applied to voters in the Southern United States who voted solely for candidates who represented the Democratic Party. The term originated in the late 19th century. These voters would allegedly "vote for a yellow dog before they would vote for any Republican".[1][2] The term is now more generally applied to refer to any Democrat who will vote a straight party ticket under any circumstances.
