Related: About this forumTrump just got interrupted by a bunch of people shouting Bernie....
He said, "Get them out."
He also said "Confiscate their coats. Don't give them their coats." Isn't he nice?

(19,537 posts)... and those were what he was trying to get back?
Well, if he wants to get them back from those who won't vote for him, perhaps that would make a court case for him trying to bribe and buy voters through these gifts that they can take him to court over. If they'd let them keep them as gifts, then it would be harder for them to prove that those gifts had expected return value for them.
SUE his ass folks, and give some of the rewards back to Bernie's campaign and be heroes!

(16,950 posts)since you are posting about it here. Yet you were asking me for links on another thread since you pretended to not know what I was talking about when I mentioned Bernie trying to woo Trump's angry teabaggers.

(57,349 posts)I don't know what dictionary you're using but I'd throw it out if I were you.
Progressives?
R B Garr
(16,950 posts)proves that you know exactly what is meant by Bernie "progressives" and Trump "progressives". It was on the news coverage from the Trump rally you are posting about. Its on the news all the time. Same with this website.
Yet you were pretending not to know and asking me for links. This goes to your credibility again. But at least it is funny to see your...efforts.

(57,349 posts)No wonder you linked to progressivestoday and insisted it was a progressive website when people objected.
You do know better now, right?
I'd hate to think you haven't learned anything.
R B Garr
(16,950 posts)being anger, which makes them the "progressives' in their party. Anti-establishment Crossover voters. Bernie himself has talked about it.
But the point is that you were asking me for links when it's obvious you know about the Bernie/Trump crossover talking points. You are not confused as your posts here show so your link requests were a red herring.
beam me up scottie
(57,349 posts)You still haven't provided any links, btw, just lots of claims with nothing to back them up.
That's all you ever do, come to think of it.
And you accuse others of having credibility issues?
Seems like projection.

Trump's supporters aren't progressives. The progressives who went there attended ONLY to heckle him and support Bernie.

(11,366 posts)Look, 25 percent of REPUBLICANS voted for Bernie in his last election. Bernie, himself, has said those Republicans don't agree with him on choice or gay rights, but they DO agree that he's honest and will stick up for them and their right to earn a decent living.

Apparently, nearly half the people in the room were Bernie supporters who hid their Bernie shirts under their coats. Once The Donald was in full bigot-speech, they opened their coats, showed their shirts and disrupted the three minutes of hate.
