OPPOSE HILLARY CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT: SHE'S TOO HAWKISH AND CORPORATIST

Hillary Clinton is too corporatist and hawkish to be the Democratic nominee for president. Oppose her nomination to prevent a continuation of the disappointing political outcomes of the past twenty years.

Why is this important?

In 2008, after eight years of the terrifying administration George W. Bush, Americans were eager for real change. Candidate Barack Obama ran on a platform of changing business as usual in Washington, D.C. Instead, he surrounded himself with Wall Street cronies, continued the hawkish military policies of his predecessor, and promoted a health care plan tested by Mitt Romney and designed by the Heritage Foundation to promote the interests of the insurance industry. Instead of prosecuting war criminals, torturers, and Wall Street crooks, President Obama went after whistle blowers.

As President Obama recently said of himself, “My policies are so mainstream that if I had set the same policies … back in the 1980s, I would be considered a moderate Republican.”

The reason this is relevant is that in 2016 Democratic voters won't be so easily taken in as they were in 2008. They will demand and expect a real Democrat, not a Wall Street-loving, neoconservative Democrat.

But Hillary Clinton is likely to be even more corporatist and militarist than Barack Obama.

During the administration of her husband, she supported NAFTA and the repeal of Glass-Steagall. As Secretary of State she supported the Trans-Pacific Partnership. She has close ties to Goldman Sachs, Bob Rubin and the financial industry.

Bernie Sanders says he would use drones to fight terror as president

Bernie Sanders has said that as president, he would be willing to use drones in counter-terrorism operations.

In an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press scheduled for broadcast on Sunday, host Chuck Todd asked the independent senator from Vermont if drones or special forces would play a role in his counter-terror plans.

“All of that and more,” Sanders said.

Asked to clarify, he added: “Look, a drone is a weapon. When it works badly, it is terrible and it is counterproductive. When you blow up a facility or a building which kills women and children, you know what? … It’s terrible.”

The Obama administration’s use of drones to target terrorist suspects has proved controversial, particularly with the political left. Sanders, a self-professed democratic socialist, has proven popular in such circles in the 2016 campaign so far.

Todd asked Sanders: “But you’re comfortable with the idea of using drones if you think you’ve isolated an important terrorist?”

Sanders replied: “Yes”.

Bernie Sanders Wouldn’t End Obama’s Drone Program, Promises To Use It ‘Very Selectively’

Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders said he wouldn’t end the lethal drone program on Sunday in an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.

“I think we have to use drones very, very selectively and effectively. That has not always been the case,” Sanders said. “What you can argue is that there are times and places where drone attacks have been effective.”

*snip*

Sanders has yet to lay out a detailed foreign policy agenda. In fact, his campaign website does not address a single foreign policy issue (unless you count climate change). But his admission that he would not end the drone program signifies that military force in countries like Yemen, Somalia, and parts of Pakistan will be continued under a potential Sanders administration.

“Precision strikes are a small part of rolling back the influence of terror groups,” he said. “The overemphasis on drone strikes themselves obscures two very fundamental questions. Should we [be engaged in areas like Yemen and Somalia] and if yes, then what are the aspects of our policy that will minimize the killing of innocents?”

Sanders indication that the drone program would not be scrapped seems to have answered the first question. If he makes the unexpected leap to the White House, he’ll have to answer that second question. For now he’s simply assured that the question will be answered.

Yeah I support Obama--but not everything he's done

Now here's that crazy shit

I fuckin love ELizabeth Warren....I like Bernie Sanders

I support O'Malley....I don't hate Hillary and I will vote for the democratic nominee.

Because that shit coming from the other side is too fucking crazy for me.

No...I'm not happy with everything from anyone in our party...not even close. But I'm not going to beat the shit out of them or their supporters.

And I sure as shit don't want the kind of crazy the other side has to offer.

But if it makes you feel better to tear down not just the candidates but their supporters...go right ahead. I don't roll like that. The karma bus will fuck you up.

If you voted and been through few elections, paid attention to it all and maybe even contributed more than a few buck into it, then sure your post makes sense. Some haven't though, so even if just that few or even one is or might be listening, hearing, reading and or just understanding some of this stuff, what would they think?

If you were trying to convince somebody your ideas were civil and prudent what kind of language would you want to use?

Or just forget it, or curse at me if like, i have nothing more to say
