Woman Accuses Court Of Forcing Her Into Relationship With Her Rapist

A woman is suing Massachusetts in federal court, accusing the state of forcing her into a legal relationship with her rapist, Courthouse News reported Wednesday.

In 2009, 20-year-old Jamie Melendez raped the then-14-year-old, according to the newsservice. ABC News reported that "Melendez went to the girl's house when he knew her mother would not be home and pressured her to have sex with him. She said she felt threatened and intimidated by Melendez."

...

Melendez was convicted of rape and sentenced to 16 years probation, conditions that includea family court order. The victim's complaint argues that the court order "violates her federal rights by binding her to an unwanted 16-year legal relationship with her rapist. "The woman's argument states that she cannot decide whether or not to participate in these family court proceedings without risking losing custody of her child.

In 2012, after Melendez was ordered to pay child support, he requested visitation rights with the child. His request led a state representative to sponsor a bill this year proposing an end to the legal relationship between a rapist and the child conceived during the crime, Massachusetts' Patriot Ledger reported.

and yes, this allowing the man to even be near this girl is beyond disgusting. the absurdity of it. it was last summer i learned that a rapist can demand parental rights. blew my mind. it is in many states. ouitrageous. but, damn good thing there are no pregnancies in "legitimate" rape.

All he did was force an underage girl to submit to being raped, that's all!

And don't you even think about calling him a pedophile. He's a hebephile, and that makes so much difference that men made up a new word for it. I mean, lusting after children is better if they're at least older children, right? Whoever thinks power has anything to do with anything is just an out-of-control sex-hating prude radical feminist. Amirite bro?

Whether they coerced an underage girl so they could rape her, or raped a passed out girl or woman, or coerced their own wife or girlfriend so they could rape them, they are rapists, and they don't want to admit it. They want to believe that only what assholes refer to as "rape-rape", "legitimate rape", etc. counts as rape, because then they're off the hook.
