4. I had a somewhat similar conversation with him years ago

and I suspect I'd have the same response now. He isn't interested in our civil rights. Actually, that isn't exactly right. I don't think he sees this as a women's civil rights issue or I do think he'd find it to be on par with not speaking against same-sex marriage here.

Anyway I'm sure he's reading all these threads.

Seeing how many people add all kinds of caveats to their support for our human rights, I sincerely wonder how anyone could possibly think so.
