W.Va. Supreme Court again says jail authority is immune in inmate’s alleged rape

Even if a correctional officer at a regional jail raped an inmate, the state Regional Jail Authority cannot be held liable in a lawsuit over the rape, the West Virginia Supreme Court ruled Friday for a second time.
