have asked about deleting my account some months ago

you do realize it is in violation of privacy rights to continue to keep someone's account open after they have repeatedly requested it to be deleted?

there is a right to be forgotten and to be let alone even in america

even facebook has a way to close your account

would be sad if it came to a lawsuit but it's time to delete this account after repeated requests

thank you for your attention to this matter

You could always get several hidden posts and they can ban you. hrmjustin May 2015 #1

Sounds like there isn't a mechanism to easily remove all posts by a member in the software. If you can link to any posts that raise privacy concerns, I'm sure the Admins would be willing to delete them. In any case, this is something that only the Admins can address.

You can also contact them via Private Message or Email:

(Their forum names are links to their profiles which have Send DU Mail buttons.)

Run around deleting all the posts you made--YOU can do that. You made the mess, you clean it up.

Invent a garbage email address and change your address to that. Then invent a garbage password and don't write it down. You will have effectively severed your relationship to this place forever and always.

Good grief, it's not rocket science. Get cracking. Bye!

no wonder you dont want to clean it up yourself. Ye gods.
Seeing the scale of the mess you need to mop up, I agree with earlier poster that getting yourself banned might be the easiest way for you to execute your objective.

If you did sue, I'm fairly certain you would lose, and then pay court costs and possibly be held accountable for DU's legal expenses too.

Ta!
