Why is my post number frozen at 662 since July 19, 2013?

I am wondering why my post number never changes. It has been 662 since I posted reply #6 to "A former 17-year-old self-described thug bemoans the Trayvon Martin Killing," by Horse with No Name, on Friday, July 19, 2013. What was I supposed to do?

If you look up an old thread, those old replies reflect your current post count as the page is retrieved from the DU servers.

Here is a link to the Web Archive version of that earlier thread showing your post count at 137:

(Be patient with that link - the page retrievals from their servers can take a little longer than normal.)

I will explore that possibility. I really am not computer savvy. I could be wrong, but it just seems as if I have posted more than that. I just thought I should ask. Maybe you are right.
