False patriots that never servered.

To all of you monday morning flag wavers. STUFF IT.. if you never served and dodged the service then you have no place telling me a person that joined in 1974 and served 1975-1979 active duty USAF 728 TCS. People are not dissing the flag or the USA when they they are saying that killing people is bad. black,white,brown,yellow..the way thing are right now is bad we have a bunch of idiots runnung this country. I have to ask? when i joined the USAF I had a TS clearance, full FBI check..had to wait extra 3 month due to lost paper work, how the hell did most of trump's group get approved for TS clearance? I this well not end well for anybody .

...the draft was effectively over by 1972-ain't no draft dodgers or multiple deferment shit-stirrers under 65 or so. That does give us a means of scoring some senior politicians but unless you are over 60 the general population was never even been asked to serve in any serious fashion. And the service isn't for everyone. What we have is a "professional army" and like Tom Hanks said in "A League of Their Own" there's no crying in baseball-no one was dragged away to sacrifice-they read the contract and signed. It doesn't denigrate their service or sacrifice but it makes it a completely different animal. We can argue until the cows come home about whether a national service requirement would be a good thing, but until there is one I attach no stigma to non-service though I despise civilians who wrap their tattered asses in the flag...
