time stamps on self deleted posts

do they reflect time zone of poster, or of DU headquarters? they don't seem to correlate to reader's time.

the example I saw just now listed 1:42 am Wednesday July 28. it is still July 27 where I am.

did a test and my self delete shows my local time correctly.
