where do reply to an automatic message

I was judged on a reply I made that was about the land of a thousand dances being used as the land of a thousand agendas --I was in no way trying to annoy or put down anyone's discussion .
Sorry I was frustrated by the tone of some remarks about the subject and my comment was misunderstood completely .

If you are referring to a jury results message, there is no reply/appeal to a blocked message. ManiacJoe Mar 2013 #1

It happens. It's no big deal unless you make it a habit.

That answers my question too. I've recently recieved a couple of 'judgements' for what I consider trivial reasons. Apparently you can't respond in negative terms to a poster who attacks and diparages certain segments of society. The poster was making a judgement call which I thought had nothing to do with the basic subject being discussed. Whoever complained said it was 'out of line' and a jury decided I be censured. I guess DU has become what we used to be concerned about in Republican forums, if you didn't go along with the party line be prepared to have your comments dumped. As far as I'm concerned many of these judgements are nothing more than the result of kangaroo courts and make me wonder what has happened to free speech on DU.

is "attack the post not the author".

Subtlety and a larger post count will often times get you a little more leeway, but not much more.

The jury seems to be the proverbial judge jury and executioner when deleting or hiding a post or topic, why is there no provision for the supposed offending member to have some say at defending his/her actions on the matter? One cant even reply to the automatic message that gets sent.
