Hi, I'm Tortie
I have been a lurker here at DU for a long time. I finally decided that signing up and talking with like minded progressives would be a lot more fun and purposeful that sitting here yelling at my TV. I am a life long liberal and blue state resident. I have lived in the Seattle area most of my life, but I'm from Portland OR originally. I love animals (especially cats-I have several), cooking, astronomy and camping trips to the mountains, and talking politics. I attend a local chapter of Drinking Liberally when I am able to, usually with my very liberal 80 year old Mom in tow.
I am looking forward to becoming a member of the DU community and getting to know many of you.
