I am wondering why I am still seeing their posts.

Could be that you picked an alternate spelling of that member's name. Next time you see one of his/her posts select and copy the user name and paste it into your ignore-list search box to make sure you ignore the right person. Hope that helps!

I'm not sure, but maybe you need to empty your cache and start over, but the function works pretty flawlessly.
