DURecs? If I recommend something does the person get points or something? Does the thread float to the top or... like what's the point of recs?

It will get the OP to the "Trending Now" or "Greatest Threads" on the Home page.

If an OP get five or more Recs it will also place that thread on the "Greatest Threads" tab.
