thing as gun violence. Violent people sometimes choose guns as their weapon of choice because, you know, guns are so easy to obtain, but it has nothing to do with the gun itself. Guns are only used for good until some "responsible owner" unexpectedly snaps, or sells a few guns to cousin Bubba who couldn't pass a background check. But that only happens around 30,000 times a year or so. No big deal really.

But that's the American way isn't it? We've been shooting each other since the Revolution, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Why hell, we only stopped the practice of slavery because we invented "tools" which were more efficient to get the work done. It's the same thing with guns -- they've become so efficient at killing that everyone needs at least one rapid fire machine with lots of ammo capacity. That way we can all "stand our ground" against unarmed people who look scary. Vigilantism is way better than waiting for the cops, and saves a lot money on those cumbersome trials and expensive legalities.
