What does the resurrection of Christ mean to you, personally?

Religious experiences can be very difficult to describe using normal speech/writing, so if this is too difficult for you to put into words, then I'll understand.

Yes, deity things are hard to put into words, especially because of the darned pronouns. For example, God isn't male or female, but calling God "it" doesn't feel right, either.

As an agnostic Episcopalian, I call myself a Christian. I'm really rather devout about it, too, as I'm in church almost every Sunday. I never miss church if I can help it. I adore my church and everything about it.

As an agnostic, I don't take most parts of the teaching literally, except for the teachings of loving one another and taking care of people who need help.

The resurrection to me is more of a symbol of the rebirth around me (of course, I live in the northern hemisphere) and for hope. I don't know if there's an afterlife, but if there is, the resurrection of Jesus means I can also be reborn into a better place.
