Elizabeth Warren, Joe Kennedy push immigration reform

BOSTON (AP) — Immigrants living in Massachusetts and their supporters are gathering for a weekend rally in Boston to pile up pressure on the U.S. Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reforms that include a path to citizenship.

Organizers say hundreds of immigrants, community activists, representative of workers' groups and political leaders will rally at Faneuil Hall on Saturday. They will then march to the nearby federal building that houses the U.S. Immigration and Citizenship Services and the local immigration court.

The rally is one of the first events of the "Power Up for Citizenship" initiative being launched nationwide.

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, U.S. Reps. Michael Capuano and Joseph Kennedy III and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino are scheduled to join the Boston rally.
