Young artist not stopped by disease sells $50k painting
DENVER – There is an emerging Front Range artist who recently sold two original paintings in one night for $50,000 each.
She is Anicee Lamoreaux, a delightfully bright and fun-loving 11-year-old from Broomfield.

Anicee was born with osteo genesis imprefecta which is more commonly known as brittle bone disease. In her short life, she has already dealt with 100 broken bones.

It was piece that Anicee worked on with Amber that sold for $50,000 at the Children's Hospital Colorado Gala earlier this month. The bidding was ferocious. The auctioneer asked Anicee if she would paint another original. That commissioned piece quickly sold for another $50,000.
