Children of Men

What a good movie. I saw it years ago, when it first hit video, and just rewatched it. It felt very suited to 2020. It was actually kinda scary in that context. The refugees in cages hit especially hard.
My coworker and I were discussing the Rat Utopia experiment this past week at work, and that also came to mind. Is that the way we are headed? Unsettling thoughts for my day off.

Thanks for the recommendation. My Tuesdays off are reserved for eating, watching movies, and snuggling with the cats. I’m always looking for new stuff to watch.

The scene with Michael Caine euthanizing his catatonic wife just about took me apart.

Too many things to do today; it will be Saturday before I can get it. It sounds like a great movie - one reviewer commented that he almost wanted the main character to pick up one of the guns that were everywhere, but he never did.
