Just a couple of suggestions on how to raise the visibility of our group

If you think, as I do, that the issues we raise and discuss here are important, there are a few simple ways you can help to raise the visibility of Appalachia Group.

First, consider adding the url for Appalachia Group to your sig line. There are so many groups at DU that a small one such as ours can get lost in the crowd. So adding a direct link would help.

Second, if you enjoy some of the threads here and think they deserve a wider audience, please don't forget to give them a rec. The discussions on the main groups such as GD aren't the only ones deserving of an audience.

Third, please feel free to post and respond to posted threads. It is difficult to gauge the interest in this group unless we have feedback or acknowledgment.

Thanks much, everyone!

You can also cross post articles to other places where you think they might find a good reception (like the Labor group, the state forums, energy/environment, etc).

When you cross post to other groups or forums, folks, make a note in your post that you are cross-posting from Appalachia Group.
