I imagine a lot of people on here already think it's reached that point, as soon as she announced.

To the sort of people who are already going around telling people to fall in line, it already appears to have reached that point.

I also disagree, as you do, but expect that sort of post from here on out from some folks.

I bet I can think of a bunch of other sites where you "can say what we want about Hillary... without the alert swarm." You'd probably even be welcome ... and if you announced your progressiveness ... they'd probably buy you a drink.

Please link to it, or be an adult and apologize.

And regarding my attacking progressives, I will re-post my clarification:

It has occurred to me, perhaps, I should clarify my statement. You will note that whenever I reference "progressive", I consistently place the word in quotations, or preface/modify the word "DU" ... there is a reason why I do this. Specifically, I do it to segment out/separate out, the political progressives from those that seem to have taken root in DU; but, consistently demonstrate a clear distain for the Democratic Party, and more, those that make up its base.

If you find yourself advocating income equality AND championing sacrificing the poor and working classes (i.e., "Let's go over the fiscal cliff!&quot ; then, you are the "progressives" that have no real political home ... at least, not in the Democratic Party.

If you find yourself advocating income equality AND championing sacrificing PoC, women, and the LGBT community (i.e., "Income Equality IS the most important issue of our time&quot ; then, you are the "progressives" that have no real political home ... at least, not in the Democratic Party.

If you find yourself advocating a set of policy goals that begins with "IF" (and that "IF" involves a series of unlikely occurrences) AND criticize Democratic policies (established in the current political environment), as inadequate; but, in their imperfection, do benefit the majority of the poor and working classes (i.e., the ACA, Executive Orders, etc.); then, you are the "progressives" that have no real political home ... at least, not in the Democratic Party.

If you find yourself spending the vast majority of your posts (especially during election season), criticizing Democrats, Democratic candidates, and "other" Democrats for supporting Democrats and/or Democratic candidates; then, you are the "progressives" that have no real political home ... at least, not in the Democratic Party.

If you look into your soul; but more, your actions, and can say the above does not apply to you ... then, you are not the "progressives" that have no real political home ... and are welcome members of the Democratic Party (even when you claim "Democrat", as your 3rd or 4th political descriptor).

Does that clarify things?

I will post where I like (or until the hosts see fit to block/ban me), Thank you! (BTW, I think I have only posted once in the HRC Group ... it's not a place I frequent.)

Now care to address the crap you pulled out you butt? ETA: I will, graciously, let you off the hook for the apology, as a recognize you are emotional unable to do so.)

Or, how about my clarification ... I'll wait!

(Still laughing at you!)

ETA: I think my clarification IS/COULD BE a valuable mirror for this group. Far more valuable to, and consistent with, the Group's purpose of "To discuss(ing) and debat(ing) issues, candidates, and strategies related to the promotion of progressive, populist reforms within the Democratic Party", than the constant ranting and outrage. (Others may, differ.)

Progressives on DU, and particularly in this Group, that do not fall into the above-described category ... that wish to reform the Democratic Party, as the purpose represents.

But more, I would like to seek/discuss convincingly workable plans to move American politics further to the Left than this current administration has taken us.

As a host, I'm going to ask you to be civil to other members who come to this protected group not to bicker but to share productive ideas and, at times, to vent about matters that frustrate us in the search for a better party.

Fights with other members, challenges, mocking, and rofl emoticons really aren't consistent with our purpose.

If you wish, please feel free to simply post your definition of a real "progressive" and be done with it.

Otherwise, please disengage from this particular battle, which would be more appropriate to GD or Politics or another group, but not this one.

Best regards,

NYC_SKP

Well actually I was banned 6 months ago because I asked for details about someone's prediction/guess about something loosely related to Clinton's potential presidential run. They had no details, and I got banned. Genius.
