Where does Bernie stand on cannabis related issues? I think he comes down on the right side

for medical, he's exactly where I would want him to be, but I'm not sure his thoughts on ending prohibition for recreational. I just skimmed this page, but right away thought it might be interesting for the Cannabis group to check out for deeper analysis.

There will always be pot. Really, is this the only thing he's on the right? Cuz if you want pot, you can still get it.

To wit, 3 states and DC have legalized for recreational use, as of now, more are likely to follow.

The days of politicians being able to write it off as a frivolous non-concern, or a big joke, are over.

Also I'd suggest that maybe the Cannabis group isn't the best place to tell people trying to discuss promoting full legalization "don't worry" about it.

don't be acting like it's not one of the central things wrong with this country that feeds many of the other problems.
Yes we need to protect ss and medi but there are tens of millions who will stand up for that compared to those who protest the unjust application of drug laws in this country.

question asked of him on "Brunch With Bernie" via the Thom Hartmann Radio Program.
If memory serves, he does support Medical but is not "keen" on the idea of general legalization for personal use.
