How good is Medical Cannabis?

So I'm thinking about getting my medical MJ card here in Florida. How good is the herb? Is it worth it? I don't have any body local to me for purchase and I don't think my new condo association would like me doing a grow.

You run across bad stuff once in a while if you shop by price, but most is pretty good.

I grow my own now. I'm rural tho.

When I was young I smoked a lot of pot but quit when I had children. The last time I tried a toke, it nearly choked me to death. I don't think I could smoke any more, but I would like to see if I could replace some anxiety meds with a more natural product.

5. Maybe look into getting some CBD for your anxiety issue...

..as you probably know, CBD can be very low or virtually zero percent in THC levels, but may help for anxiety.

was okay, which is good, they are fighting a cancer diagnosis, so more power to them (to fight the pain). I hope in the end run, it does the trick for them, they did say that they didn't have to take as many pain killers (pills) as a result, so that's one benefit too.

I think that they put him on the pot in lieu of having to take so many medications. Good luck!

4. In California it was better before before decriminalization

When it was still just medical marijuana the level was between you and your doc. My wife forecast this and voted against decriminalization. She was right. We both voted on principle. Any body could get a med card but I figured why should i have to. I had jobs that included climbing up in rigging and doing electrical work. It took complete legalization to make it something I didn’t have to pee in a cup to keep working.

Put in a search for your area and locate a couple of shops. Go to the sites for the stores for prices and % of THC. You’ll need a card to get in the door. I never liked the fancy stores. Like the ones with older Budtenders. Once you get in they will help you thru it. Most give you a first timer gift with your first buy. Good luck and stay safe.
Ps. You’ll need cash, no CCs.

to find a doctor that writes scripts. Check the laws in your state for what conditions you have that you can use. Then if you have any medical documents you can take to prove you have the one you use it for. Reports, blood work or anything on paper will help a lot.

I'm a daily user and I think its pretty good although I don't think its quite as strong as some of the high end Colorado or California rec stuff out there, but I've heard a lot depends on what stores you shop at.

Jacksonville has a couple Trulieve and they are the "big name" around here. I use them because they usually have the most selection. I've never purchased recreationally and prior to it becoming legal here, I was getting from elsewhere and other means.

in September 2019. At the time I was on 160 mgs OxyContin, plus oxycodone 5’s (not Percocet). I, right away, cut my dose in half. And that didn’t really bother me.... At least not at first. Within a week I started feeling like crap, but I trudged on.. Oh yeah, vapes, at least on MD’s eastern shore, is kinda pricey..

Living in an apartment, smoke free, of course, meant I had to use vapes. Truth be known I’d rather have flower, but you have to compromise. And I’ve tried sublingual. Didn’t care for it..

In my words medicinal cannabis works fantastic!!

I highly recommend the Trulieve dispensaries. They have many locations around the state and do deliveries.
https://shop.trulieve.com
In Florida a dispensary must be from "farm to table." Trulieve has proven varieties and many forms of consumption. I take the concentrate orally ... 9 pound hammer and it is excellent. https://shop.trulieve.com/truclear-syringe-850mg-9lb
As a side note, not only would your condo association disapprove but so would the state and you would risk some serious jail time.

$250 for doctor visit? $75 to the state and then $150 to be on "the registry"
Least expensive I found was $150 for first visit and $75 to the state to get your card. You need a renewal ever year with the doctor and state @ $89 and $75..
Does that sound about right?
