(3,544 posts)that say if she loses them both, it's still OK. What? How can it be bad for one, but not the other?
Bernie will win them both.

(178 posts)there is no way for Clinton to win half the delegates she is expected to win. Maybe she'll be given one or two delegates, but Bernie will get the majority of it.

(11,982 posts)Delegates are awarded proportionaltely. If Hillary loses a close race, she can end up with as many delegates as Bernie, but the press will probably focus on the "upset" and the "huge setback" for Hillary. If Bernie loses a close race, again, the two of them can end up with the same number of delegates, and the press will probably focus on how he "almost pulled it off, but it looks like Hillary remains largely inevitable" - even though the actual results of the two scenarios are identical in terms of the goal of delegates.
I would be surprised to see people from the Hillary camp saying Iowa doesn't matter unless they actually do anticipate the blowout scenario, since the truth is that, apart from the psychology, a narrow loss is as about as good as a narrow win.
